हरियाणा के पूर्व गृह मंत्री अनिल विज ने कहा कि "जब सविंधान बनाया होगा तब कोई ये नहीं सोच सकता था कि कोई चुना हुआ मुख्यमंत्री जेल भी जायेगा इसलिए उसके बारे मे कुछ लिखा ही नहीं गया लेकिन नैतिकता ये कहती है कि दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल त्यागपत्र दे दे"। विज ने ये भी कहा कि "जब उनके अपने अन्य मंत्रियो के त्यागपत्र दिये तो क्या केजरीवाल के लिए अलग नियम है, तो केजरीवाल को भी नैतिकता के आधार पर त्यागपत्र दे देना चाहिए"।
श्री विज आज दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से भी जल्दी सुनवाई की राहत नहीं मिली, जिस कारण वो जेल से ही सरकार चला रहे है, के संबध में पूछे गए प्रश्न का उत्तर दे रहे थे।

दिल्ली के मंत्री राजकुमार ने भी आम आदमी पार्टी से इस्तीफा दे दिया है इस पर विज ने तंज कसते हुए कहा कि "ये तो अब सभी जायेंगे बिछड़े सभी बारी बारी। विज ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी झूठ के सहारे बनाई गई थी जो अब धीरे धीरे टूट रहे"।

पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कहा है कि हम खून बहाने के लिए तैयार हैं देश के लिए, लेकिन देश के लिए अत्याचार नहीं सहेंगे, इस पर अनिल विज ने पलटवार करते हुए कहा कि "ठीक है देश के लिए अत्याचार नहीं सहेंगे लेकिन आप वहां की मुख्यमंत्री है ये तो कहे कि वहां पर अत्याचार नहीं होने देंगे।
बंगाल मे जो भी एजेंसिया जाएंगी उसे पिटने नहीं देंगे, वहां पर सन्देशखाली जैसी घटना नहीं होने देंगे, आप बस इतना ही कहो, देश की बात तो बाद मे होंगी। विज ने कहा कि वहां पर जगह जगह गुंडागर्दी होती है उसे तो पहले रोकिये"।
"मोदी ने ऐसा कोई काम नहीं किया, जो सलाखों के पीछे जायेंगे" - विज
राजद सांसद डॉ. मीसा भारती कहती हैं,कि इस देश की जनता ने इंडिया अलायंस को सरकार बनाने का मौका दिया तो पीएम मोदी से लेकर बीजेपी नेता तक सलाखों के पीछे होंगे, के बारे में पूछे गए सवाल के जवाब में विज ने कहा कि "ये तो लोगो के सामने चुटकले कहने वाली बात है। मोदी ने ऐसा कोई काम नहीं किया, जो सलाखों के पीछे जायेंगे।
दूसरी बात वे खुद ही कह रहे है अगर इसका मतलब की इंडिया गठबंधन नहीं जीतेगा। ये देश का बच्चा बच्चा जनता है कि वे नहीं जीतेंगे इसलिए ही तो वे अगर लगा रहे है"।
"मोदी की गारंटी की भी गारंटी है" - विज
कांग्रेस के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने एक मंच से कहा है कि झूठ की बौछारो से इतिहास नहीं बदलता, इस पर विज ने पलटवार करते हुए कहा कि "कौन से झूठ की बौछार की है, कौन से इतिहास की बात कर रहे है वो, नरेंद्र मोदी ने जो कहा वो करके दिखाया। उन्होंने अनुच्छेद 370 हटाने की बात कही थी वो हटाया, क्या रहुल को ये नज़र नहीं आ रहा।
विज ने कहा कि पहले ये मज़ाक उड़ाते थे कि मंदिर वही बनाएंगे परंतु तारीख नहीं बताएँगे और वहां मंदिर भी बना दिया और तारीख भी बात दी इनको निमंत्रण कार्ड भी भेजा अब ये नहीं आये तो इसमें हमारा झूठ है। विज ने कहा कि मोदी की गारंटी की भी गारंटी है।

हरियाणा के महेन्दरगढ़ मे एक स्कूल बस हादसा हो गया है जिसमे छः बच्चो की मौत हो गई और कई घायल हो गए, इस पर अफ़सोस जाताते हुए विज ने कहा कि "ये एक हृदयविदारक घटना हुई है जिसमे आधा दर्ज़न बच्चो की मौत हो गई है। विज ने कहा कि ये सोचने वाली बात है कि आज ईद की छुट्टी है फिर स्कूल क्यों खोला गया"।
