Srinagar , 28 Aug 2015

Besides ISIS and Pakistani flags, the posters carrying the photographs of Hizbul Mujhadeen commander Burhan Wani  were displayed again on Friday near Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.Eyewitnesses told CNS that a group of masked youth amid pro-freedom slogans waved ISIS, Pakistan green flags and the posters carrying the photograph of Burhan Wani. This is not the first time when ISIS and Pakistani flags were raised in the old city. The waving of ISIS and Pakistani flags has become a routine affair outside the Jamia Masjid on Fridays. But it was for the first time that poster boy Burhan’s photographs appeared in old Srinagar city. Pertinently, Hurriyat Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani, militant outfits Lashkar-e-Toiba and Tehreek-ul-Mujhadeen and Hizb chief Commander Syed Salahuddin in the past had criticized ISIS and had asked youth not to wave it’s flags. When contacted a police official said that the youth behind waving ISIS and Pakistani flags have already been identified and soon they will be arrested. (CNS)
