Gurezi for facilitating the people of Border areas

Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today said that unprovoked firing from Pakistan Rangers across the Line of Control has been the cause of instability and problems being faced by the people living across the border. He said this has also affected their day today activities besides, creating bottlenecks in processing the Indo-Pak peace talks.Mr. Gurezi said that the matter needs to be taken by the concerned authorities so that the tension is eased across the border and people live tension free life.The Minister pointed out that due to such situation the people of these areas are not able to work in their agriculture fields and orchards with the result the production of crops in the area decreased resulting in minimizing per capta income for the people living in boarder areas. Mr. Gurezi appreciated the efforts being initiated by the dynamic Chief Minister Omar Abdullah with the Central Government for minimizing tension across the border by way of initiating peace talks on priority.
