Army hosts iftar party to foster brotherhood

An Army unit at hyderbeigh village of north Kashmir organised an Iftar Party for the locals of the area this evening in a bid to foster brotherhood.Guests poured in large numbers and mingled with each other, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Those who were present at the party offered their prayers, and then, interacted with each other over dinner.The Commanding Officer 29RR Abishek Tripathi said such receptions are organized each year to bring people of different community’s closer, adding that this spreads the message of love and peace among the people.Commander 10 Sector Alok Naresh,SDPO Tangmarg Rameez Rashid,Dy.sp ops Pattan Amir Iqbal,SHO Pattan Mir Saleem Muslim , SHO tangmarg Sadat,Saleem Yousuf & Other  journalists from CNS and panches and sarpanches attend the iftar party."We have invited all the sarpanches (village headmen) and the residents living in this area. This Iftar party is organized every year and everyone here has a good relation with the army as well as among themselves. People from different religions as well as the army celebrate all the festivals together," CO 29 RR Abishek Said
