The Cabinet which met here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah decided that the annual examinations of the under graduate classes of the Kashmir pision Colleges and the Winter Zones Colleges of Jammu pision shall be held in March, 2015 instead of October-November 2014.It also decided that the same examination schedule shall apply in the Kashmir pision and the Winter Zone of the Jammu pision in the School Education Department. The decision was taken in view of the damages caused to the infrastructure of School/Higher Education Institutions in the state by the floods.Meanwhile, the Cabinet also revoked the embargo on transfers imposed earlier vide Government order No:07-GAD(Camp) of 2014, dated:17.09.2014.  It was, however, re-iterated that the transfers may be made strictly in accordance with the laid down transfer policy.
