A delegation of visually impaired children of National Association for the Blind, New Delhi along with the office bearers of the Association met the Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari here today. They pinned a Flag on the self of the Vice President to observe their All India Flag Day. The Vice President interacted with the visually impaired children and blessed them success in their life. He also donated a token amount for the welfare of the visually handicapped children. National Association for the Blind is a voluntary organization working for the education and welfare of the visually handicapped children. It observes an All India Flag Day to raise funds as well as to create awareness of the problems faced by the visually handicapped persons. It is engaged in a number of welfare activities for the visually handicapped. It’s headquarter is at Mumbai, Maharashtra and branches in 23 States.
