A delegation of Shaal-Chanog near Jubbalhatti Airport of Shimla Rural Assembly Constituency led by Member BoD Industries Shri Pramodh Sharma met Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh here today. The delegation urged the Chief Minister to restore Shimla-Neri HRTC bus service which was restricted to Rampuri about four-five months back.
Delegation apprised the Chief Minister that Shimla-Neri via Syari bus service was more than 25 years old which was being plied via Shaal- Chanog since last 8-9 years. They told that this bus used to go to Neri from Shimla at 11.30 AM and comes back at 3.30 PM from Neri thereby facilitating school children, teachers, farmers and common people of their area.
Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh assured that their demand for restoration of Shimla-Neri bus service would be considered sympathetically. Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shaal-Chanog Smt. Suresha Sharma, BDC Member Smt. Madhu Thakur, Panchayat Member Smt. Meena, Shri Ram Lal and Shri Kameshwar were present among others.
