Healthcare sector of India is expected to generate 40 million jobs by 2030. Out of this, 1 Lakh jobs are expected to be created from Ayushman Bharat Mission of Government of India, the World’s largest free healthcare scheme. Thus, the sector will require not only doctors and surgeons but also Nutrition & Dietetics professionals. Those interested in pushing their career in private clinics and hospitals, health clubs, gyms and spas, or in self-employment can opt for newly launched Bachelors degree in Nutrition & Dietetics at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran. This well crafted four-year degree approved by Punjab Technical University (PTU) in B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics works for the collateral benefit of students and society. It equips the student to identify nutrition and dietary problems in population segments and frame viable methods to control it with regard to the technology, society, and economy. It will enable the student to become a certified dietician and/or Nutritionist unlike Iinnumerable online courses in Nutrition and dietetics which don’t offer credibility.
