Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar said here today that the department has recently issued a notification after cabinet approval vide which the process of affidavit to be taken while BPL selection has been made easy. Now the applicant have to submit self certified prescribed Performa instead of stamp paper.He said that this entire process will be completed in Block Development Office. He said that the Department was regularly interacting with the District and Block Development Offices in connection with the BPL selection. He said that BDOs have been asked to implement this notification in letter and spirit and in case there arose any difficulty or complaints from any quarter should be reported to the State Headquarters so that Department may give further directions in this regard after obtaining proper feedback from the BDOs and public as well. He said that our motive is to facilitate the general public and all out efforts should be done for the convenience of public.
