Chief Minister, Shri Virbhadra Singh said that every citizen of Himachal Pradesh should have ‘AADHAAR’ card as it was the basic identity of a citizen. Chief Minister was speaking to media after enrolling himself for ‘AADHAAR’ card here today. He said that State Government had decided to review the decisions taken during last six months by the previous Government. He said that 149 government schools would be re-opened which were de-notified by previous Government. He said that it was endeavour of State Government to provide quality education to the children at their door steps. Shri Virbhadra Singh said that State Government had decided to fill up the vacant posts besides creating new posts so that developmental works do not suffer and people could get better and efficient services.Regarding 85th constitutional amendment, Chief Minister said that the related Bill has not been passed by the Parliament and State Government would take an appropriate decision in this regard only after that.

Chief Minister said that State Government was endeavouring for providing regular air services and he had discussed this issue with Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister and Chaudhary Ajit Singh, Civil Aviation Minister. Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, Industries, Labour and Information and Public Relations Minister was also present on the occasion.
