District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar today convened a meeting here to review the functioning of control room established by the PHE department to deal with the grievances regarding the provision of water supply during the current summer season in different areas of the district.Addressing the meeting, DDC directed the department to ensure the potable water supply availability in the areas facing shortage of the drinking water supply.He asked the concerned to ensure that all resources are mobilized to provide relief to people during the summer season.It was also given out that helplines have been constituted aiming at addressing the water scarcity issues in the district whereby people can lodge their complaints.The helpline numbers are 9419161398, 9419161148 for PHE Sub Division Udhampur and 9419161837, 9419190625 for PHE Sub Division Ramnagar and 9419150400, 9419169298 for PHE Sub Division Chenani.Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Ashok Khajuria, SE Hydraulic Circle, Ashwani Anand, Executive Engineer PHE Division Ashok Sharma, Executive Engineer, PHE Mechanical Division, Sanjay Sharma, AD Planning, Darshan Kumar besides other officers of concerned departments were present in the meeting.
