Minister for Education Altaf Bukhari today announced a grant of Rs 50 lakh for the repair and renovation of various schools in Rafiabad constituency.The Minister while speaking to various delegations at Dak Bungalow in Baramulla said that government is keen to provide quality education in a good infrastructure to the students. The people highlighted the issues of dilapidated condition of various schools in Rafiabad to which he announced Rs 50 lakh for repairs.The Minister also announced upgradation of two high schools to higher secondary schools and two Middle schools to High Schools in the constituency based on feasibility report.On the occasion the Minister also announced Model Higher Secondary School at Ladoora on which foundation stone will be laid soon.The Minister also directed the concerned officials to expedite the construction work on GDC Hadipora so that it will benefit the student community at the earliest. The Minister also directed the concerned officials of R&B and PHE departments to speed up the work on developmental projects in the constituency.
