Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh sanctioned a sum of Rs. 20 lakh as ex-gratia grant to the next of the kin of martyr Suresh Kumar from CRPF 219 Battalion resident of village Sunhi, Tehsil Badoh, district Kangra, who sacrificed his life in the anti-naxalite operation at village Vankupvada in Sukma, Chhattisgarh on 11th March, 2017. This amount of ex-gratia has been sanctioned in relaxation of the policy prevalent at that time.Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner, Kangra to ensure the disbursement of the grant immediately to the kin of the martyr after fulfilling all codal formalities.
