A qualified biomedical engineer from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, USA, Ankit, started his journey with skincare technology, understanding and evaluating some of the best technologies from around the world that would deliver results on the Indian skin type.His endeavor led him to visit hundreds of top dermatology and aesthetic clinics around the world, observing and interviewing dermatologists and aesthetic practitioners about key parameters such as indications, efficacy, patient comfort and most importantly value for money.
Ankit’s journey has spanned from technology to conceptualizing skin clinics and med-spas to engaging directly with customers.This vast experience has led him to identify the gap in the Indian aesthetic medicine market – that of transparency, credibility, reliability and awareness for patients as well as access to quality tools, trainings and protocols for doctors.Prior to starting BeYouPlus, Ankit had successfully launched My Dermacy, an online portal for aesthetics and received two rounds of funding for his project from Cyber Carrier. He also led one of the largest B2B distribution companies in the industry growing the organization over 3x in a span of 5 years. His deep understanding of technology pushed his previous company to adopt technology and digitization.
