A Two day seminar on “Social Media in Indian Police” organized at Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) concluded here today.The seminar was inaugurated by Director SKPA, IGP, M. Sulaiman Salaria.AD (Admn.) SSP Shiv Kumar Sharma, other senior officers of S.K. Police Academy Udhampur were present on the occasion. While addressing the participants Director SKPA stressed the need to curb the nefarious design of anti national elements, who are misusing social media. He advised the participants to use Social Media for intelligence collection and effective investigation.AD (Outdoor) SSP Randheer Singh in his valedictory address said that the participating officers will be benefited from the knowledge imparted and information shared during the seminar. He also appreciated efforts of co-ordinator Dy.SP (O) Ashish Gupta for making the seminar successful.
