Tarn Taran , 13 Dec 2016

“Badal government has failed to identify and punishment the accused involved in the sacrilege of revered Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and those responsible for the deaths of innocent protesters in Bargari which arises doubt on the intentions of the Badals. Had they been the well-wishers of “Sikh Panth”, both Badals would have acted swiftly and seriously in this case. Aam Aadmi Party will ensure severe punishment for the perpetrators of the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib so that nobody can even think of repeating the incidence in future”. These views were expressed by AAP National Convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal while addressing “Inquilab Rally” in Tarn Taran. While interacting with the impressive gathering, Arvind Kejriwal said that this border district has been ignored by the Akalis and the Congress since its formation, after formation of government in 2017, Aam Aadmi Party will revive the industrial hub at Goindwal Sahib and Sheron sugarmill which will provide ample employment opportunities to the youth of this area.

Lashing out at the Bikram Majithia, Badals and Capt. Amarinder Singh, Kejriwal said that all of them have a secret agreement on saving each other’s misdeeds. Whereas the Badals have closed the corruption cases against Captain Amarinder Singh, the later approached Sonia Gandhi to bail out Bikram Majithia from a CBI enquiry during the Congress regime at Centre. Had Captain not interfered, Bikram Majithia would have been behind the bars. But Aam Aadmi Party will put Bikram to jail and punish him for ruining the youth of Punjab by spreading drug trade.Kejriwal said that God gave them a chance to serve the people of Delhi and within a short period of 1 ½ years, the health and education sectors have been developed at par with the private institutions. Above all, corruption has been brought down considerably which helped them in generating revenue for the schools and hospitals. Promising to make Punjab drug and corruption free, Kejriwal said that they will implement the strategies to bring Punjab back on track. He said that AAP will stop illegal mining, cable and transport mafia thriving under the political patronage. On this occasion, AAP candidates Kartar Pehalwan, Bhupinder Singh Bittu Khawaspur, Ranjit Singh Cheema, Dalbir Singh Tong also addressed the rally.
