The Congress Party activists today held strong protest demonstration at Ramban and blocked highway,Congress workers protest led by former minister and member legislative assembly Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani accused BJP led NDA government on demonetization issue.Congress workers took out a protest rally and then came on the National Highway at bus stand Ramban and disrupted the movement of vehicles for about 45 minutes.They were shouting slogans against BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi,protest against Modi Government for its failure to deal with crises erupted after demonetization and corruption by two BJP Ministers in J&K.Led by former minister and MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani, a large number of Congress workers assembled at dak bungalow at Ramban district and held a protest denomination against Modi government.While addressing huge gathering at general bus stand Ramban Vikar Rasool Wani said that with change in denomination, poor and farmers have become victim of the Government’s false policy. Only the poor people have been affected badly with the Modi Government’s decision, but no rich or black money holder has come in queue for currency change,” Vikar alleged.He said that Modi Government abruptly took decision and implemented across the country without proper planning on ground leading to chaos among the poor masses. He appealed Central Government to re-consider its decision.MLA Banihal further appealed to the common masses to oppose this decision on ground.Vikar alleged that Coalition Government. “BJP Minister’s vehicle was intercepted with cash in crores but it was not seized, as per the reports published in media. Another minister stuck deal worth Rs 13 with own party MLC,” he said.Senior leaders secretary PCC Ashok Kumar and Imtiyaz Ahmed Khanday, DCC President Arun Singh Raju, Farooq Katoch and Rashid Malik and others also spoke on the occasion.
