At least 40 persons were executed on Sunday by the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group in Iraq's Mosul city, a security official said.The victims were executed over charges of conspiring against the IS rule in Mosul, Xinhua news agency reported.The victims were accused of helping people to flee the city and being former Iraqi security members."The IS terrorist group delivered the bodies of 40 men and a list of their names to the morgue of the main hospital in Mosul," a security official said. The official said all the bodies were shot in the head.
