Protest, resistance and struggle of Kashmiris is only for freedom from illegal occupation of India and Indian leaders, rulers and their Kashmiri stooges by denying this reality are only betraying themselves and their people. Imposing silence of graveyard by oppressive measures, and banning grief over those killed is nothing but dictatorship of worst kind that too under the garb of so-called democracy.Ongoing killing spree by Indian forces in Kashmir is because of the immunity provided to them by Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges and remarks like of Indian minister Arun Jaitly terming the happenings in Kashmir as a War with pro-freedom camp is also responsible for these massacres.This was stated by the incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik in a message from police custody today.Yasin Malik who is in police custody from last 12 days and has been placed in solitary confinement at Kothibagh police station said that ongoing protest, resistance and struggle by the people of Jammu Kashmir is not a protest without any objective or a vain attempt but this struggle that has been going on from last 70 odd years has a clear objective that is the freedom of Jammu Kashmir from illegal occupation of Jammu Kashmir.
He said that on 9th July 2016 people of Kashmir were still celebrating Eid when Indian police and forces started killing spree in south Kashmir. Within some hours Indian forces and police by showering bullets and pellets on common people not only killed dozens but injured thousands as a natural process people across Jammu Kashmir started a protest against this killing spree and Indian rulers and their stooges in Jammu Kashmir instead of putting a halt on killing spree started blaming protestors and started a campaign against people saying that protests were short at because they attacked army and forces camps and started looting arms. The height of shamelessness is such that only two days before, army showered bullets on innocent people at Qazigund and killed three including women but army spokesman blamed people of trying to loot weapons instead of penalizing the killers.
Yasin Malik said that on one side this killing spree is continuing and on the other hand Indian leaders, so-called Kashmiri rulers and their forces along with their bias media which is following Gobbles and trying to change killers into innocents and make heroes out of killers for so-called national interest.He said that what can be more provocative than the senior Indian minister’s statement in Indian parliament terming the happenings in Kashmir as a war between India and the resisting people of Kashmir.?These kind of statements are a glaring example of impunity and immunity provided to Indian killing machinery and these are actually responsible for the killings in Kashmir, added Yasin Malik.e said that Kashmir is reeling under curfew and restrictions from last 12 days, people here are suffering and scarcity of food items, milk and medicine for infants and injured is on rise. At the same time there has been a blanket ban put on internet, mobile phones, news papers, and other means of communication. All this is going on but at the same time Indian leaders and their Kashmiri stooges are in a denial mood, denying even what is going on in Kashmir.He said that Kashmir dispute is a living reality and ostrich like approach of Indian leaders and their Kashmiri stooges cannot change this reality by continues denial. Yasin Malik said that from last 12 days Kashmir is burning and Kashmiris are being killed mercilessly .

Instead of having some shame on all these dictatorial acts, Indian rulers, their Gobbles influenced bias media and Kashmiri stooges are trying to portray that all is well in Kashmir.Yasin Malik said that by running away from reality and trying to deviate from the real problems Indian leadership is actually befooling its own people. The fact of the matter is that Jammu Kashmir issue is a living reality and ostrich like approach and denying this reality has and will yield nothing but disaster.
He said that sooner the Indian leaders and their Kashmiri stooges accept this reality and try to resolve this dispute, better is for India, Kashmir and for the whole south Asian region.For last twelve days a total curfew has broken the back bone of Kashmiris and today people suffer because of the lack of food grains, rations, necessary life saving drugs, milk and food items for their infants and other important means of life .He said that after all these oppressive measures, so-called rulers in their pursuit to suppress news of their ill doings in Kashmir have banned internet, news papers, mobile phone services and even TV cable channels.
He said that by all these Hitler type acts, India and its stooges want to hide what is happening in Kashmir. They want to give international community and the people of India a notion that all is well in Kashmir. Yasin Malik said that Kashmir is burning, people here are being killed, suppressed and terrorized by military might and by banning necessities of modern life and putting blanket ban on all modern communication systems, this land has been virtually turned into big jail.Condemning the ban on news papers and terming it as worst kind of suppression, Malik said that Indian rulers with the help of their Kashmiri stooges banned news papers in Kashmir and now the blame of this ban is being shifted from here to there.He said that a nation that has rendered valuable sacrifices during their freedom struggle cannot be fooled by such double speak and hypocritical politics.He said that living nations continue their freedom struggles at every cost and Kashmiris being a living nation are also continuing their sacred struggle despite all oppression, suppression and tyranny and no power on earth can deter this nation from doing this righteous act.He hoped that these black days of oppression will soon come to an end and as per the law of nature, tyrants and oppressors will lose and the last victory will belong to those oppressed.
