Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh today, while replying to a Calling Attention Notice of Jugal Kishore Sharma, informed the House that the work of electrification of village Kosal and Loudra of Block Panchari in District Udhampur was undertaken by NHPC under RGGVY-1 Scheme.The Deputy Chief Minister said that the total cost of the project was Rs 26.01 crore, of which Rs. 23.34 crore stands expended.Dr. Nirmal Singh said that the scheme was closed and some key material like transformers and poles are lying uninstalled at village Loudra of Panchayat Sadhota. The Minister, however, said the village Kosal stands electrified by NHPC under RGGVY-1 with 2 sub stations and HT/HL line.The Deputy Chief Minister said that the uninstalled material has not been handed over to the Department by the NHPC Ltd. He further said that no Departmental material has been provided at village Loudra/Kosal during the last six months, adding that the left out works are proposed to be included in PMRRP.
