Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Asghar Samoon, today inspected G B Pant children hospital, Srinagar. He inspected all wards, operation theatre, intensive care unit and Neonatology unit and interacted with attendants and inquired about healthcare facilities being provided in the hospital.Medical Superintendent of the hospital informed the Divisional Commissioner that new diagnostic and other allied equipment has been installed in the hospital post 2014 flood. He also informed that free medicines are also being provided to the needy patients.Divisional Commissioner directed the hospital administration to ensure adequate heating arrangements besides ensuring hygienic conditions in and around the hospital.
