The District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz convened a meeting of officers to review the arrangements being made for celebration of Eid ul Azha. Officers from Revenue, PDD, Fishers, Animal Husbandry, CA&PD, Transport and Food Safety attended the meeting.The DDC directed the Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Ganderbal to maintain cleanliness in and around the Eidgahs, Mosques and Markets in the district. PDD was directed to maintain uninterrupted power supply on Eid ul Azha. Market checking squads headed by Tehsildars were directed to intensify market checking.It was also decided in the meeting that Fisheries department shall set up two sale outlets of Trout and two Sale outlets of Carp, one each at Mamer and Mergund.It was also decided that Animal Husbandry Department shall setup chicken mobile sale outlets in all tehsils of the district where broilers shall be sold at rates which shall be Rs 5 less than the Government notified rates.Later the DDC chaired a meeting of officers to review the preparation of Aadhar Cards in the District here today.The DDC directed the officers to complete the field work for preparing Aadhar Cards before October 25, 2015. He urged the officers to start final round for capturing Bio-metrics from September 28, 2015. He directed  Chief Education Officer Ganderbal to install camps in schools of the district for capturing Bio- metrics of school children and ensure that the process is completed within 15 days.ADC Ganderbal, ACR Ganderbal, SDM Kangan, CEO Ganderbal, district officers and all Tehsildars of the district were present in the meeting.
