On the instructions of Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq a delegation of Hurriyat including the head of Human Rights Division Hurriyat (M) Mannan Bukhari and other member Mir Imran visited SMHS and Bone & Joint Hospitals Srinagar to inquire about the health of the persons who were injured in a recent police/forces action at Kakpora Pulwama and currently under treatment in the hospitals.In a statement to KNS a spokesman of the conglomerate said the delegation on behalf of Mirwaiz and entire Hurriyat expressed sympathies and solidarity with the injured and their family members.

In the meantime the spokesman strongly condemned the police action on protestors in Kakpora Pulwama who were protesting against the excesses of government forces in Kakpora.Terming the excessive use of force, tear gas shelling and clamping of curfew in the entire area as worst form of dictatorial tactics, the spokesman castigated the government for tormenting the entire population of the area.
