Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today visited several Idgahs in Samba district and extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslim brethren.The Minister, while exchanging warm greetings with the Muslims at Sarore Adda, Taile Basti, Barjani, Shah Talab, Badori Idgahs and other Mosques expressed optimism that the day would further cement the bonds of love and amity among the people of all faiths. He said that such pious occasions provide us an opportunity to introspect and pure our thoughts and deeds enabling us create a better world to live in.
He appealed the people to optimally utilize these occasions to further strengthen relations with other communities, which is pre-requisite for heralding peace, brotherhood and communal harmony in the pluralistic society.“Love and peace coupled with spiritual knowledge has great power to bind people together for a prosperous and harmonious society besides nurturing respect for all faiths”, he maintained while urging people to follow teachings of great Prophets and Saints. He also prayed for the peace and tranquility in the State. Several senior officers of administration also accompanied the Minister.
