Minister for Haj, Auqaf and Floriculture Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Who is here to attend the Winter Secretariat, today chaired a meeting of officers to review the arrangements for Muharram.Directing the concerned for ensuring fool-proof arrangements on the occasion, the Minister asked for ensuring adequate quantity of essentials in the market for the convenience of the people. He asked for proper cleanliness en-route the Muharram procession, besides ensuring uninterrupted power and water supply. Later, various deputations also called on the Minister and apprised him about problems being confronted by them in their day-to-day life.Peerzada issued on-the-spot directions to the officers concerned for attending to the peoples’ problems on priority, saying that they need to take immediate steps for redressing them.
