Veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini on Wednesday took to the social media to blame her car's accident in Dausa in Rajasthan on July 2 on the father of the child who was killed in the smash-up.On her Twitter page, she expressed her condolences to the family whose car was smashed by the "Dream Girl" star's Mercedes, but said the accident could have been averted if the girl's father "had followed traffic rules"."How I wish the girl's father had followed the traffic rules - thn this accident could have been averted & the lil one's life safe," tweeted the 66-year-old actress."My heart goes out to the child who unnecessarily lost her life and the family members who have been injured in the accident," she tweeted.
The "Sholay" actress also said that she was "touched" and "overwhelmed" by the messages she got from all her well-wishers across the country."I'm touched & overwhelmed by the many msgs & calls frm well wishers in India & frm the world over. I thank each one of u frm the bottom of," she said.Hema Malini was injured near Dausa, over 50 km from Jaipur, when her Mercedes smashed into another car turning into a side road, leaving the girl child in that vehicle dead and three others injured.
