Altaf Bukhari reviews R&B Projects in Gurez

Minister for R&B Syed Altaf Ahmad Bukhari Tuesday reviewed the progress of projects taken in hand by the R&B Department in Gurez, in a meeting he chaired here.Minister of State for R&B Mr. Sunil Sharma, Commissioner Secretary R&B Mr. Rohit Kansal, Chief Engineers and other officers were also present on the occasion.While receiving brief on the status of projects, the Minister urged the executing agencies to redouble their efforts and accelerate the pace of work on all ongoing projects.The Minister was apprised that Wanpora bridge project has already been completed and thrown open for vehicular traffic besides many projects including Dak Bunglows at Dawar, Kanzalwan and Tulail are in the final stage of completion.Further, it was given out that the work on ground floor of IPD Hospital at Dawar has been completed and work on the first floor is in full swing, besides work on Court Complex, Animal Husbandry Hospital at Dawar has already started.

Similarly, ITI building at Wanpora, Gurez and Gujran Hospital shall be completed at the earliest and both these projects are expected to be handed over to the concerned departments during this working season.Moreover, the Minister was informed that  work on many bridges, buildings, schools and Model village Kanzalwan taken up by the R&B Department is in  full swing besides black topping of roads in Dawar will be started shortly.
