Pakistani prisoner killed in mysterious blast in Sopore

A Pakistani prisoner was killed in a mysterious blast at Hygam area of Sopore in north Kashmir Baramulla district on Saturday.Official sources told Global News Service (GNS) that the blast took place near Hygam on Baramulla- Srinagar highway, leading to death of Wahid Noor Khan of Pakistan who was being shifted to central jail Srinagar from a local court in an ambulance.In the incident a few policemen were also said to have sustained injuries, they said.The blast occurred inside the vehicle, they said, adding that the reason and nature of the blast is being ascertained.The blast took place inside the ambulance and whether it is a grenade or some other kind of blast is being ascertained, they added.
