Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon today convened a meeting of representatives of Jamia Anjuman-i-Auqaf Committee to review the pace and progress of ongoing construction work at Jamia Masjid Srinagar and its allied works including development of Muslim Park, construction of Community Hall and upgradation of Islamia Higher Secondary School.The Divisional Commissioner gave directions to accelerate development tempo and ensure that all works taken in hand should be completed within the stipulated time frame.Dr. Samoon had a detailed review of beautification project of the Jamia Masjid Srinagar with concerned authorities. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone, Director Tourism Kashmir, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah, Director School Education Kashmir, representatives of Jamia Anjuman-i-Auqaf Committee besides other concerned officers.
