Dy CM pays homage to martyrs, visits bereaved families

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today met grieved families of the martyrs at Muthi and Barn and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families. He assured full support to the families in their hour of grief and praised the bravery of the Martyrs in defending their Motherland.MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Minister for Social Welfare, Forest Ecology and Environment Bali Bhagat, Minister for Information Education and Culture Priya Sethi, Legislator Sat Sharma, Senior leader Yudhvir Sethi besides senior officers of Army, Police and Civil Administration were present on the occasion.He attended the last rites of Martyr Hawaldar Sat Paul Bhasin at village Muthi who had lost his life when unidentified militants ambushed an army convoy of the 6 Dogra Regiment in Manipur’s Chandel District and expressed his condolences towards the family of the martyr.While paying homage to the Martyrs he said that the sacrifice of Dogra Soldiers won’t go waste and termed the attack on army personnel in Manipur as cowardice and distressing. The Deputy CM also visited village Barn (Gharota) and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family of Martyr L. Naik Kuldeep Raj and wished that the Almighty would give courage to them to bear this irreparable loss.
