Congress Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said there will be no hung assembly in Haryana. The Congress will form the government with a majority. He said it was a result of the good policies of the Congress that Haryana had achieved number one position in the country from the earlier number 14. He said the people should review the INLD-BJP term in Haryana. Hooda was talking to the media in Jhajjar on the last day of the election campaign in Haryana.

The BJP fooling the people

Hooda said the Congress government in the state had worked for the welfare of all the people with full transparency. On the other hand Om Prakash Chautala was in jail today because of his wrong deeds. BJP’s policy of lies and betrayal too had been exposed. On the question of the unending ceasefire violation by Pakistan, Hooda said three days ago Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that he had forced shut the mouth of Pakistan. But Pakistan had again opened his mouth and th firing on the border had continued endlessly.he said if the government takes strong action on the security of the nation, the whole nation will stand by him. But the BJP was only fooling the people. It’s game will not last for long, he said.Hooda said the Haryana government asked the Centre for more bonus on the dhan of the farmers, but there was no response from it. On the question of releasing land to the Robert Vadra’s company,  he said the Prime Minister only speaks what is tutored to him. The Election Commission has already given its reply in the matter, he said.

During BJP’s reign prices of goods increased instead of going down

On the issue of price rise, Hooda pulld up the Centre. He said after the present state elections in the country, the prices of gas cylinders will increase by Rs 10 per month. The BJP government failed to reduce the prices of essential goods in the country.  Every section of society is facing hardship s a result, he said.

Attacking INLD, Hooda said the atmosphere of fear had been ended

With reference to the INLD, Hooda said INLD Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala had been jailed not because he gave jobs to 3200 unemployed people, but because he changed the list of selected candidates with epopel who had not cleared the test. Chautala is in jail because of his own doing. Hooda said during his reign a large number of people had been given jobs. If a person is jailed just because of giving jobs to people then he should be hanged. He said the Congress government took back thousands of retrenched employees of the state. In the Chautala government neither the farmers, not businessmen, nor employees and teh general public were happy. There was an atmosphere of fear. ``We ended the fear,’’ said Hooda.

Only those people quit Congress who had lost their political base

Hooda said only those leaders left the Congress party at the last moment who had lost their base and touch. He said before the 2009 assembly poll in the state, one of the tallest leaders of the state, Bhajan Lal quit the Congress to form a new party. Bu the Congress again retained power in the state. Now also some leaders have quit party, but they it will have no effect on the Congress and it will come to power for the third time in a row. Some people in league with Punjab chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal were creating obstacles in Haryana getting canal water

On the question of equitable distribution of water in the state, Hooda said the Hansi-Butana canal was ready, but some people who were in league with Paunjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal were working against the interest of the state and not allowing canal water to Haryana. He said there was a stay in the court on the issue of puncturing the canal for getting water to Haryana. On the question of surveys showing BJP as the leading party in the present election, Hooda said the real result wiull be out on October 19. He said the Haryana government will further improve the land acquisition policy. On the question of the Khap panchayats and Dera Sachha Sauda giving political support to the BJP, he said khap panchayats are for sorting out the issues, not making them more complex. Dera Sachha Sauda is a social organisation, not a political entity.

Promises made in the Congress manifestos of 2005 and 2009 fulfilled

Hooda listed the achievements of his ten-years-rule in Haryana. He said the old-age pension in Haryana had been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 500, Rs 1000 and from November 1 people will get Rs 1500 per month. He said the Scheduled caste people had been greatly benefitted. SC children were being given scholarships from Class I. The Congress had fulfilled all the promises made in the party manifdstors of 2005 and 2009. The promise made of forming a separate SGPC committee for Haryana had also been fulfilled a fes months ago.

Haryana achieved Number 1 position from number 14

The Chief Minister said it was a result of the progressive policies of the Congress government that Haryana hd reached the number 1 position in the country from the earlier number 14. He also praised the sports policy of the government. Job opportunities for the youth were created in the state.Hooda said he addressed public rallies at 65 places in the state during the present election and got immense response from the people. He said the Congress was going to form the government in the stae for the third time in a row.. Every section of society, be it farmers, employees , traders, aged people and others in Haryana were happy today because the Congress government formed welfare policies for all.
