INLD MP and party candidate from Uchana assembly segment, Dushyant Chautala today took Prime Minister Narendra Modi head on by accusing him of being soft for Congress President’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, whose controversial DLF land deal allotment by Bhupinder Singh Hooda led Congress government has become a big political issue.“Why is Modi not taking any action over this scam..? He is Prime Minister of the country and if he was serious, by now, the case should have been handed over to the CBI or to any central agency for the investigation. Actually, Modi led BJP is playing a game as they are raking up the issue in the political rallies but haven’t uttered a word about initiating high level probe from the Centre over this issue,” said Dushyant while addressing series of meetings in Uchana assembly segment today.
The INLD MP also said that actually PM does want to develop a personal rivalry with the Gandhi family and that is why he hasn’t touched this case even as in his statements before the Lok Sabha polls, the Prime Minister on several occasions, had announced to investigate the misdeeds of Vadra from various stages.“Even the senior local leaders of the BJP had announced that after BJP forms government at the Centre, they would ensure return of the land allotted to DLF through Vadra, to the farmers. Why the local leadership is also mum over the issue. I know that few of them are being close relations with congress leaders,” questioned Dushyant.
Dushyant also accused BJP for its anti-farmer strides due to which the rates of paddy has decreased to Rs 1500 per quintals and the farmers are compelled to face the loss of Rs 20,000 per acre in the grainmarkets for the sale of their paddy crop. “But the Central government is quite over the issue and has led the farmers to their own mercy. Had such a thing happened with the farmers of Gujarat, the Modi led government would have announced a special package for the peasants of Gujarat,” blamed Dushyant. Challenging the Prime Minister to show even a single project that he has sanctioned for the Haryana or even have talked about in the media, the INLD youth leader said that even as Haryana is situated close to Delhi but the entire focus of Modi was Gujrat.
“I urge the PM to clarify why always he remains cornered by the people of Gujarat and even during his recent trips to Haryana during the election campaign, none of the Haryanvi leader of the BJP failed to get the full personal attention of the Prime Minister. Why such an indifferent attitude towards Haryana people…Modi must reply,” asked the INLD MP. He claimed that the fact of the matter is that the real face of the BJP has been exposed before the people of Haryana and the voters have got to know that the BJP leaders only make statements and do nothing. “More than 130 days tenure of the BJP is enough to show that BJP leaders are not serious for the concerns of Haryana and they want people to vote for them only to get powers. Whereas, the public is aware that only INLD is a party that thinks seriously for the farmers and the people Haryana and know how to protect their rights,” said Dushyant.
