DGP Administers Cleanliness Oath To Police Officers/Employees

With a view to make Swachh Bharat Mission, a peoples’ movement as directed by the Punjab government to realize the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of a clean and hygienic India, a special cleanliness drive was started at Punjab Police headquarters today on 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of nation.On this occasion hundreds of police officers and employees posted at headquarters were administered a ‘cleanliness oath’ in presence of Punjab DGP Mr. Sumedh Singh. The process of administering oath was completed by DGP Mr. SK Sharma.Earlier, in a comprehensive cleanliness campaign, the whole premises of police headquarters and offices were cleaned thoroughly and instructions were issued to make it regular feature.On this occasion, the top brass of state police was also present.
