The "Bolega Kharar, Badlega Kharar" foot march, led by Shiromani Akali Dal's Kharar constituency in-charge Ravinder Singh Khera, entered its 15th day on Monday, covering Wards 22 and 23.

The march began from Mata Naina Devi Temple, Dussehra Ground, and passed through Uchi Gali, Jogian Wala Mohalla, City Police Station Kharar, Bhuru Chowk, Pal Dairy, and Kalra Gali, before concluding at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

Addressing residents during the march, Khera highlighted the worsening traffic congestion in Kharar and alleged that under the present Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, not a single entry or exit point of the city has been properly developed.

He said the city's broken and neglected roads have significantly increased traffic jams, making daily commuting difficult for residents. According to Khera, the deteriorating road infrastructure has also reduced the number of visitors to Kharar's main market, leading to a sharp decline in business and affecting local traders.

He further stated that the poor condition of roads has left residents with very limited options to travel smoothly from one part of the city to another, resulting in congestion at almost every major junction.Khera claimed that the decline in customer footfall has severely impacted Kharar's local economy, placing a heavy financial burden on shopkeepers, market traders, and small business owners.

Holding the AAP government responsible for the situation, he alleged that the administration's failure to maintain basic urban infrastructure has caused significant economic losses. He added that Kharar, which should have been a thriving commercial town, has instead become an example of administrative mismanagement under the current government.

Former Municipal Councillor and senior Akali leader Maan Singh Saini, along with Amanpreet Singh Aamu, Kuldeep Singh Heera, Harsimran Singh Binny, Manveer Singh, Aman Sharma, Moti Lal, Basant Singh, Gurmukh Singh, Parvinder Singh, Amandeep Singh Heera, Patwari Balwinder Singh, Jagtar Singh Jaggu, Pradeep Singh Kala, Akash Mittal, Mohan Singh (Electricity Board), Gurdeep Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Mavi Pyara Singh, and Amarjeet Singh Minta, were also present.
