The much-awaited teaser of Yaariyan fame Himansh Kohli's upcoming film Aryabhatt Ka Zero has finally been unveiled. Running for just 1 minute and 10 seconds, the teaser offers an emotional glimpse into the life of a young man battling heartbreak, repeated failures, family expectations and society's judgments, while striving to earn one thing he craves the most—respect.
The teaser opens with a television news bulletin where an anchor says, "Lovers who suffer heartbreak often become alcoholics, fanatics or even killers. But here, a heartbroken lover became an IAS officer." Inspired by the news, Himansh Kohli's character excitedly tells his parents that he wants to become an IAS officer and District Magistrate, only to be met with a sharp slap from his father.
The moment sets the tone for the emotional and challenging journey that follows. Veteran actor Ravi Kishan then appears in his signature style, delivering witty yet thought-provoking life lessons. In one memorable scene, he says, "A man who eats at his former lover's wedding never goes hungry because he becomes shameless."
Later, when he reassures the protagonist by saying, "Whatever happens, happens for the best," Himansh's character innocently replies, "Nothing good ever happens to me." The exchange beautifully captures the emotional vulnerability of the protagonist.
The teaser also features glimpses of action, emotional confrontations and dramatic moments. It reaches an impactful climax when Himansh's character declares, "I've lived like a poor man for long enough... now I want respect." The closing visuals are accompanied by the soulful track Dil Farzi, adding a romantic and musical touch to the teaser.
In the film, Himansh Kohli plays Brahamgupta Shrivastava, affectionately known as Baggu, a 25-year-old middle-class youth labelled a failure by society and struggling with self-doubt. As life continues to throw challenges at him and his family, Baggu gradually discovers resilience, hope and self-belief.
His inspiring transformation from an ordinary young man into someone extraordinary forms the heart of the film. Speaking about his character, Himansh Kohli said, "This is a character that today's Gen Z will instantly relate to. He finds himself surrounded by situations that are never his fault, yet they continue to impact his life.
There comes a point when he decides to move forward no matter what. It's the journey of a young man filled with love, failures, bad luck and constant struggles, but above all, it's his passion and determination that define him." The film stars Himansh Kohli, Sonal Sehgal, Darshana Banik, Naresh Vohra, Alka Amin and Neeraj Sood in pivotal roles, while Shilpa Shinde will be seen in a special appearance.
