BJP MLA for Jammu East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, on Wednesday conducted an extensive inspection of ongoing development works in New Plot, covering Wards 16, including Lanes 8, 9, 10 and the adjoining localities. The visit was aimed at reviewing the progress of civic infrastructure projects and identifying additional works required to improve public amenities in the area.

Accompanied by JMC Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Ravi Kumar, Junior Engineer (JE) Mukesh Gupta, Omkar Bose, Vicky Pandey BJP OBC Morcha District Jammu Vice President, Karan Sharma General Secretary Amphalla Mandal, Pooja Sharma General Secretary Amphalla Mandal, Ajay Mehra, BJP OBC Morcha Mandal President, Bunty, and several other party workers, local residents and officials, Yudhvir Sethi inspected the quality and pace of the ongoing works.

He interacted with local residents, listened to their grievances and suggestions, and discussed future development projects to address the growing needs of the locality. During the visit, residents highlighted issues related to road infrastructure, drainage, lane improvements and other civic facilities.

Sethi assured them that all genuine demands would be taken up on priority and that necessary instructions would be issued to the concerned departments for their early resolution. He also directed the officials to maintain high standards of quality while executing the works and ensure their timely completion.

Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said, "Development remains our highest priority, and every locality in Jammu East deserves quality infrastructure and better civic amenities. My endeavour is to personally monitor the progress of ongoing works and ensure that public funds are utilised efficiently for the benefit of the people."

He further said, "I believe in maintaining direct contact with the residents to understand their concerns and incorporate their suggestions into future development plans. We are committed to creating modern infrastructure, improving roads, drainage and other essential facilities so that people experience tangible improvements in their daily lives."

Sethi appreciated the cooperation of the engineering staff and urged officials to work in close coordination with the public to ensure that development projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe. He reiterated that the administration is committed to the holistic development of Jammu East and that no genuine public issue would remain unattended.

The residents expressed satisfaction over the MLA's visit and appreciated his proactive approach in personally reviewing the ongoing works and taking note of the developmental requirements of the area.
