Reinforcing its position as a pioneering institution in management education, IIHMR University, Jaipur has announced a transformative redesign of its flagship MBA (Development Management) programme, aligning it with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and the evolving needs of the development sector, sustainability ecosystem, and social impact landscape.

As part of this strategic initiative, IIHMR University undertook an extensive stakeholder consultation involving industry leaders, development practitioners, policy experts, academicians, alumni, and employers to review and reimagine the programme curriculum.

The outcome is a future-ready, industry-driven MBA designed to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills, and leadership capabilities required to address complex developmental challenges and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

Drawing upon its distinguished four-decade legacy of transforming management education in the healthcare and social sectors, IIHMR University has developed a contemporary curriculum that integrates emerging themes, innovative pedagogy, outcome-based learning, experiential education, and industry-aligned assessments. 

The redesigned programme has been developed with inputs from leading domain experts and global consulting firms to ensure relevance to future employment opportunities and evolving workforce demands.

The enhanced MBA (Development Management) programme will offer specialized pathways in :

• CSR and ESG Management

• Sustainable Business Management

• Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Development

The revised curriculum will be implemented for the incoming 2026–28 batch, creating a new generation of development management professionals capable of driving sustainable growth, social innovation, and inclusive development. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, Jaipur, said, "At IIHMR University, we believe management education must go beyond business and become a catalyst for nation-building.
