Continuing its efforts to expose youth to inspiring success stories and emerging career opportunities, the District Administration Bandipora today organised another episode of "Nun Chai Talks" at Waqar Knowledge Centre, featuring noted entrepreneur Firdous Indiana (Syed Firdous Hussain), Co-Founder and CEO of 'Indiana Floors & More'.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local gymnasts and young sportspersons from across the district, who engaged in an interactive session focused on entrepreneurship, skill development, career planning and emerging business opportunities.

During the session, Firdous Indiana shared his inspiring journey from Bandipora to establishing himself as a successful entrepreneur in Bengaluru, highlighting the challenges, experiences and milestones that shaped his success in the business sector. He encouraged the participants to cultivate discipline, dedication and a strong work ethic, emphasizing that these qualities are equally important in sports, academics and entrepreneurship.

During the interaction, Firdous Indiana stressed the importance of positive thinking and focused effort in achieving success. He advised participants to begin every endeavour with confidence, avoid negative influences and remain committed to their goals. He said that positive energy and a clear focus are the true mantras for success in life.

He also spoke about the changing employment landscape and the growing opportunities available to youth through innovation, skill development and self-employment. Drawing from his professional experiences, he urged the participants to continuously upgrade their skills, embrace new technologies and remain committed to lifelong learning.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, highlighted the emerging business opportunities available to young people in the present era and underscored the importance of skill development in enhancing employability and entrepreneurship. 

She encouraged the participants to identify their strengths, pursue their interests with determination and make the best use of the opportunities being created through various government initiatives aimed at youth empowerment. The Deputy Commissioner also appreciated the achievements and dedication of local gymnasts and encouraged them to strive for excellence both in sports and in their future professional pursuits.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl, spoke about trending business opportunities, unconventional career paths and various government schemes available to support youth in pursuing entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.

Speaking on the occasion, BDO Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Hadi highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and encouraged youth to explore emerging career opportunities through skill development, innovation and self-employment.

An interactive question-and-answer session was also held during which participants raised queries related to entrepreneurship, career development, skill acquisition and business management. The guest speaker responded to the questions in detail, offering practical guidance and valuable insights based on his professional journey.

The participants expressed appreciation for the programme and described the interaction as informative and motivating. The session provided them with a better understanding of the opportunities available beyond conventional career paths and inspired them to explore new avenues for personal and professional growth.

Speaking at the conclusion of the programme, BDO Aloosa and Nodal Officer for Waqar Knowledge Centre, Ulfat Ali, thanked Firdous Indiana for sharing his experiences and valuable insights with the youth. She also appreciated the active participation of the gymnasts and reiterated the commitment of the District Administration to continue organising such meaningful interactions through the Nun Chai Talks platform.

The audience for this session primarily consisted of members of the local fitness community and gym enthusiasts, as the discussion centred on the importance of combining intellect and physical fitness to build a better tomorrow.

The District Administration Bandipora reiterated that Nun Chai Talks will continue to serve as a platform for accomplished personalities from diverse fields to engage with and inspire the youth, helping them make informed decisions about their future while fostering a culture of learning, innovation and aspiration.
