Chandigarh BJP Organises Hawan, Aarti and Ardas to Mark PM Narendra Modi’s Historic 12 Years of Public Service

Prime Minister Narendra Modi achieved the historic distinction on June 10, 2026, of becoming the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister of India. To mark this special occasion, the Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandigarh Pradesh, organized Hawan, prayers, recitations and Ardas ceremonies at various religious places across the city with devotion, enthusiasm and a spirit of national service.

Special prayers were offered across all six districts of Chandigarh for the good health, long life and continued success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his mission of nation-building. Hawans and Aartis were performed in temples, while Path and Ardas were organized in Gurdwaras. Party workers and office bearers prayed for the continued progress of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On this occasion, BJP Chandigarh Pradesh President Jitender Pal Malhotra, state General Secretary Rambir Bhatti, District President Sonu Sarpanch and district office bearers paid obeisance during the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib at Gurdwara Patshahi Dasvin, Sector 8, and prayed for the good health, long life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the overall development of the nation.

Under the leadership of District President Rekha Sood, a Hawan was organized at Shiv Mandir, Sector 39-D. BJP Chandigarh Pradesh Media Incharge Ravi Rawat, Mandal President Amit Nagar, Area Councillor Gurbaksh Kaur and several district and mandal office bearers participated in the ceremony and offered prayers for the Prime Minister’s health, longevity and the nation’s continued progress. 

Path and Ardas were also organized at Gurdwara Santsar Sahib, Sector 38 West for the well-being and long life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. District President Ravindra Malik, along with district and mandal office bearers, organized a special Ardas at Gurdwara Ram Darbar Phase-2 and prayed for the Prime Minister’s healthy and long life as well as the nation’s continued prosperity.

Under the leadership of District President Bhupender Singh Saini of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay District, Hawan and prayers were conducted at Shiv Mandir, Subhash Nagar, Manimajra. Thereafter, an Ardas was offered at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Mauli Jagran Town, seeking blessings for the Prime Minister’s health and longevity.

Under the leadership of District President Anoop Gupta, a Hawan ceremony was organized at Valmiki Dharamshala, Bapu Dham Colony, where prayers were offered for the Prime Minister’s good health and long life. Similarly, under the leadership of District President Khushwinder Singh of Bharat Ratna Atal District, Hawan and prayers were performed at Radha Madhav Mandir, Sector 34-C. 

Party workers prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good health, long life and continued leadership in the service of the nation. BJP leaders and workers stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has achieved remarkable milestones over the last 12 years in development, good governance, welfare of the poor, national security, cultural pride and global recognition. 

They expressed confidence that India will soon realize the vision of becoming a developed nation under his leadership and that the journey of public welfare will continue to move forward.
