In a significant step towards strengthening Haryana’s healthcare infrastructure, two important decisions have been taken through the efforts of Health Minister Arti Singh Rao. The State Government has approved the creation and sanction of a total of 219 posts for the 200-bed District Civil Hospital in Panipat, including 122 regular posts and 97 posts to be filled through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN).

Additionally, approval has been granted to upgrade the Thana Sub-Health Centre in Kurukshetra district into a Primary Health Centre (PHC). Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the State Government is continuously working to strengthen healthcare services in both urban and rural areas.

These decisions will ensure better, accessible and quality healthcare facilities for citizens and significantly enhance the reach and capacity of healthcare services. She stated that 122 regular posts have been sanctioned to improve the availability of specialist doctors, nursing staff and technical personnel at the 200-bed Civil Hospital in Panipat.

These include posts of Senior Medical Officers, Medical Officers, Dental Surgeons, Clinical Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Nursing Staff, Pharmacists, Laboratory Technicians, Radiographers, Operation Theatre Assistants, Dietitians, Biomedical Engineers, Social Workers and Public Relations Officers, among others.

In addition, to strengthen the hospital’s support services, 17 Data Entry Operators, 37 Sweepers, 37 Ward Servants, 5 Security Guards and 1 Supervisor will be engaged through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN). The creation of these posts will enable the hospital to provide more efficient and timely healthcare services to patients.

The upgrade of the Thana Sub-Health Centre in Kurukshetra district into a Primary Health Centre will also provide improved healthcare facilities at the local level. A total of nine regular posts have been created for the newly approved PHC, including one Medical Officer, one Female Medical Officer, one Dental Surgeon, one Pharmacist, two Staff Nurses, one Laboratory Technician, one MPHS (Male) and one MPHS (Female). Additionally, three Group-D employees will be appointed through HKRN.

The Health Minister expressed confidence that these initiatives will further improve the quality of healthcare services in the state and accelerate the goal of providing timely and better treatment to the public.
