Haryana Energy Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that all necessary preparations have been completed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply across the state. He said that as peak electricity demand continues to rise, the power department is successfully meeting the challenge and fulfilling the state's entire electricity requirement.
He assured consumers that adequate and uninterrupted power supply will be provided throughout the state and that comprehensive arrangements have been made for this purpose. Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by media persons in Chandigarh on Monday.
He said that every employee and officer of the Energy Department is working with full dedication and preparedness. The department has taken all necessary steps to strengthen and streamline the power distribution system and is continuously working on further improvements to ensure that consumers do not face any inconvenience.
Prompt Action Taken in Gurugram Incident-Anil Vij
Replying to a question regarding the recent incident in Gurugram, Sh. Anil Vij said that it was a technical issue on which the department acted immediately. He informed that following the fire incident, the affected machinery was repaired within approximately two hours and the power supply system was restored to normal at the earliest.

Responding to a question regarding the functioning of officers, Sh. Anil Vij said that he gives necessary guidance and directions whenever required. He added that departmental officers are discharging their responsibilities efficiently and are effectively implementing government policies and public welfare initiatives.
