Government aims to provide better connectivity in both villages and cities says Ranbir Gangwa

Villagers of Talwandi Rana in Hisar to get alternative road; discussions held in presence of Minister

Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said that providing a road to the villagers of Talwandi Rana in Hisar district is a commitment of the Chief Minister, and it will be fulfilled at all costs. Sh. Ranbir Gangwa chaired a high-level meeting regarding the issue of providing an alternative road from Talwandi Rana to Hisar, here today.

During the meeting, officers from the Haryana Civil Aviation Department, Forest Department, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, PWD (B&R) Department and the district administration shared their suggestions. Representatives of the Talwandi Rana Road Bachao Sangharsh Samiti and villagers also presented their demands and suggestions regarding the construction of the road.

In the presence of the Minister, officers and villagers analysed the map and discussed different options to find a solution to the issue. All possible routes, locations and technical options for the road construction were discussed in detail so that better road connectivity could be provided to the villagers at the earliest. 

Officers also shared possible options near the bottling plant located on Dhansu Road. During the meeting, a consensus was reached to move forward with Option Two, suggested by the department officers. It was also decided that correspondence would be made with the Aviation Department regarding the 20-metre area falling under the airport zone.

The proposed road under Option Two passes through forest land, GLF land and private land. Sh. Ranbir Singh Gangwa directed the officers to ensure a permanent solution to the long-pending road issue of Talwandi Rana village on a priority basis. He said the state government is committed to strengthening basic infrastructure in villages. 

The government’s aim is to provide better connectivity and modern facilities in both villages and cities. Sh. Gangwa said that the road construction will improve transportation facilities for the people of Talwandi Rana and nearby areas and will give a new boost to the development of the region. He directed all departments to work in coordination so that technical and administrative hurdles in the project can be resolved in time.

Additional Chief Secretary of PWD (B&R) Department A.K. Singh, former IG Dalbir Bharti, former Chairman, Sh. Satbir Verma, Randhir Singh Dhiru, Omprakash Kohli, along with officers and villagers, were present during the meeting.
