Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, trade and industry have received new strength in the country. Schemes such as Digital India, Startup India, GST and Aatmanirbhar Bharat have provided the business community with a new identity and greater opportunities.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was addressing a programme organized on the occasion of Aggarwal Foundation Day in Chandigarh on Sunday. The Chief Minister said that no one can match the Aggarwal community in wisdom, business acumen and social service.

The principles of social harmony shown by Maharaja Agrasen remain relevant and inspirational even today. He said that the community made significant contributions to the freedom movement.

Whenever the patriotism of Jamnalal Bajaj and Lala Lajpat Rai is remembered, every Indian feels proud. They always kept national interest above everything else. The Chief Minister said that Maharaja Agrasen showed society the path of cooperation, equality and self-reliance.

Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has also adopted the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas” and is moving forward on the same path. He said the BJP government is based on good governance and development and believes in taking every section of society along.

India is progressing rapidly and a transformational change is visible across the country today. The history of the Aggarwal community is full of pride and dignity. Descendants of Maharaja Agrasen have worked to strengthen equality and brotherhood in society.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that under the double-engine government in Haryana, several initiatives are being undertaken to strengthen industry and trade so that Haryana’s contribution to the national economy can increase further. He said that Haryana is working in line with Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s Bharat Vision 2047.

Under this vision, the target has been set to make the state’s economy worth one trillion dollar and create 50 lakh new employment opportunities. The Chief Minister said that the Department of Future has been constituted in the state to promote technological innovation.

Along with this, a new Startup Policy has also been formulated with emphasis on strengthening startups. Haryana currently ranks fourth in the country in the startup sector. To promote research and development, a Fund of Funds worth Rs. 2,000 crore has also been created.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the government has created an Ease of Doing Business ecosystem to accelerate industrial development. Under the Mini Cluster Scheme, work is underway on 48 MSME projects worth Rs. 170 crore in the state. More than 8,000 MSMEs have benefited from these initiatives.

The Chief Minister said that recently, the BJP secured clear majorities in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry, the credit for which goes to the strong leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. He added that the BJP has also received overwhelming blessings from the people in Haryana’s municipal bodies, which further strengthens the government’s development-oriented policies, vision and working style.

Former Minister Sh. Aseem Goel, Panchkula Mayor Sh. Shyam Lal Bansal, Sampurnanand Maharaj, Pandit Vijay Shankar Mehta, VHP General Secretary Suresh Jain, Naresh Seran, Jagmohan Garg, Pradeep Goyal, Pradeep Bansal, Anand Singla, Sunil Mittal, Om Prakash Devinagar and a large number of distinguished members of the Aggarwal community were present on the occasion.
