In a significant step towards empowering the next generation of Young Architects, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Chandigarh Chapter, in collaboration with Network for People of Construction (Club NPC–Tricity), launched the Young Architects Forum (YAF) in Mohali. The initiative is aimed at creating a dynamic platform exclusively for young architects to connect, collaborate, and contribute innovative ideas to the rapidly evolving architecture and construction sector. 

The forum seeks to bridge the gap between academia, industry, and professionals while promoting creativity, sustainability, and modern design thinking among emerging architects. During the programme, the significance of INS & OUTS 2026  the 12th Edition presented by PHDCCI was also highlighted. 

Following the successful completion of 11 editions, the expo has emerged as one of the region’s premier platforms for the architecture and construction industry. Under the theme “Decoding the Future of Modern Architecture,” the event will showcase innovative technologies, sustainable solutions, smart infrastructure, and modern design trends for architects, designers, and industry stakeholders.

Ms. Bharti Sood, Sr. Regional Director, PHDCCI, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed the young architects for their gracious presence at the forum. She highlighted the role of PHDCCI as a proactive industry body working towards strengthening industry growth, policy advocacy, business networking, and creating collaborative platforms for professionals and entrepreneurs across sectors.

Mr. Rajneesh Bansal, Chair, Chandigarh Chapter, PHDCCI, welcomed the gathering and appreciated the launch of the Young Architects Forum (YAF) for promoting engagement, collaboration, and innovation among young professionals in the architecture and construction sector. Ar. Sukumar Jeirath, Chair, Young Architects Forum (YAF), PHDCCI and renowned Architect, delivered a presentation on the significance of YAF and highlighted the importance of such a platform in nurturing young architects through industry interaction, knowledge sharing, and professional development. 

He also expressed his gratitude to PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry for creating this meaningful platform for the emerging architectural community. Mr. Suvrat Khanna, Co-Chair, Chandigarh Chapter, PHDCCI, delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, architects, industry stakeholders, and participants for their enthusiastic presence and valuable contributions.

Er. Ravijeet Singh, Convener, Mohali Region, Punjab State Chapter, PHDCCI, and Hardeep Singh, Trade Fair Consultant, PHDCCI, were also present at the event. The programme witnessed participation from over 70 young architects, along with industry experts and stakeholders, reflecting strong enthusiasm and commitment from the emerging architectural community.
