Rayat Bahra University School of Education and Social Sciences organised a five-day workshop titled “A Roadmap to Placement Journey” in collaboration with Punjab Department of Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training.
The workshop was conducted under the vision of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra with the aim of bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice by equipping students with modern employability skills required in today’s competitive global environment.
The programme featured interactive sessions by experts from government, academia and industry. Prominent speakers included Ms Sukhman Mann (PCS) employment officer, Ms Sukhaman Bath Deputy CEO DBEE, and Vishal Kedia Joint secretary TIE.
They shared valuable insights on Artificial Intelligence, digital visibility, resume writing, personality development, communication skills, entrepreneurship, government job opportunities and interview preparation.Inderpreet Kaur, Dean of University School of Education and Social Sciences, encouraged students to develop professional competencies and confidence to succeed in evolving career landscapes.
On the final day, students visited the Employment Office for interview exposure and practical career guidance, gaining firsthand experience of recruitment processes and employment opportunities. The workshop proved highly informative and beneficial for participants.
