District Development Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the progress made in the formulation of Action Plans under the Vibrant Village Programme-II in the district. Detailed discussions were held regarding the implementation of developmental activities in the identified villages under the Vibrant Village Programme-II.
The District Development Commissioner directed all concerned officers to conduct a thorough analysis of gaps in the implementation of different schemes and programmes and ensure timely preparation and submission of Action Plans at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Superintendent Engineer PWD(R&B), Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Executive Engineers of PMGSY, JPDCL, Jal Shakti Department & Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Education Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Block Development Officers, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, besides other concerned officers.
The District Development Commissioner also reviewed the works being executed by different departments under the first phase of the programme and assessed the progress achieved so far. He emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among all departments for effective execution of developmental initiatives in the Vibrant Villages.
The concerned officers briefed the chair regarding the developmental activities being carried out in their respective jurisdiction villages under the programme.
