A 15-member delegation, led by Dr. Ritu Singh, Founder and Pro Vice Chairperson of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu, Nagbani, and Katra, called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, today. The delegation apprised the Lieutenant Governor of the extensive activities of the DPS school community in support of "Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan.”

The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the commendable efforts of the DPS fraternity and lauded the students for their awareness, confidence, and commitment, encouraging them to continue serving as agents of positive change. 

The delegation included the eight student Brand Ambassadors, namely Mahira Tandon, Dhriti Langeh, Abhilasha Gupta, Myra Gupta, Jenna Nuryn, Nadia, Sparsh Bakshi and Kashvi Arora, who actively led awareness efforts and encouraged peer participation in building a drug-free society.

It was informed that the DPS Jammu, DPS Nagbani, and DPS Katra organised a comprehensive Nasha Mukt J&K Pledge Campaign, engaging around 12,000 students, their parents, and members of the teaching and administrative staff across all three schools, along with impactful activities sensitising the citizens.

Ms. Ruchi Chhabra, Principal, DPS Jammu; Shri Rajkumar Verma, Principal, DPS Nagbani; Ms. Simmi Sharma, School Incharge, DPS Katra; Ms. Meenu Gupta, Vice Principal, DPS Jammu; Shri Ravi Kotroo, Headmaster and Shri Umesh Sharma, Deputy Headmaster, were also present during the interaction.
