Historic Gurdwara Chatti Padshahi Shadimarg Pulwama Witnesses Massive Turnout on second day of Baisakhi. auspicious festival was celebrated with great zeal, devotion, and communal harmony.On the second day of the celebrations, thousands of Sikh devotees from across Kashmir and other parts of the country thronged the revered shrine to pay their obeisance.
The atmosphere reverberated with spiritual fervour as devotees participated in Shabad Kirtan, recitation of Gurbani, and the continuous Akhand Paath, seeking peace, prosperity, and well-being for all.The historic Gurdwara, associated with the visit of the sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib, holds immense religious significance, making it a focal point for devotees during Baisakhi every year.
A community Langar (free kitchen) was also organised on the occasion, where hundreds of devotees and visitors were served meals, reflecting the core Sikh values of equality, service, and brotherhood. Volunteers and local residents extended their full support in ensuring smooth arrangements for the large gathering.
Senior police officials, including ASP Shafat Ahmad and DySP Mahid Sahib, visited the Gurdwara to oversee security arrangements and interacted with the devotees. They assured that all necessary measures were put in place to ensure a peaceful and smooth conduct of the celebrations.
Local residents and members of the Sikh community expressed gratitude to the administration for maintaining proper facilities, including sanitation, traffic regulation, and security, which contributed to the successful event.The grand celebrations once again highlighted the rich cultural diversity and communal harmony of Kashmir, with people from different communities coming together to participate in the festivities and share the spirit of togetherness and brotherhood.
