Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday strongly criticized the opposition, stating that Congress leaders should visit Congress-governed states like Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana to assess whether their governments have fulfilled electoral promises, instead of visiting Anaj mandis in Haryana to mislead farmers.
Addressing the Viksit Dadri Rally as the Chief Guest in Charkhi Dadri, the Chief Minister said that while the opposition only indulges in allegations, the Haryana Government has a clear “report card” of development and fulfilment of their promises. He added that the government remains fully committed to fulfilling all promises made to the people under the double-engine governance model.
The Chief Minister informed that the government has recently fulfilled its commitment towards workers by increasing monthly wages to Rs. 19,425.Notably, During the event, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 43 development projects worth Rs.540 crore 98 lakh at the ‘Viksit Dadri Rally’ held at the vegetable market in Dadri.
These projects aim to strengthen infrastructure, improve drinking water supply, expand the road network, and enhance public amenities in the district. The Chief Minister inaugurated 16 projects worth Rs.230 crore 66 lakh and laid the foundation stone for 27projects worth Rs. 310 crore 32 lakh. He was felicitated on the occasion by MLA, Sh. Sunil Sangwan with a memento. Cabinet Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry was also present.
Tribute to Charkhi Dadri’s legacy of valour
Describing Charkhi Dadri as a land of pride and bravery, the Chief Minister said the region has a glorious history of contribution in the 1857 freedom struggle, the national freedom movement, and wars against China and Pakistan. He said the spirit of courage is deeply rooted in every part of the district.
Major development push in Dadri
The Chief Minister said that over the last 11 years, 271 announcements have been made for the constituency, of which 201 have been completed and 58 are under implementation. He added that development works worth Rs. 1,364.60 crore have been executed in the region under the present government, compared to Rs. 303.30 crore during the 10-year Congress rule.He said the government is working with a focus on balanced regional development and aims to strengthen public trust through performance-based governance.
Budget announcements and infrastructure expansion
Highlighting recent budget provisions, the Chief Minister said special initiatives have been included for Charkhi Dadri and other districts. These include provisions for farmers’ access to mandi space for organic and natural produce, modernization of waterworks tanks in several districts, and construction of additional 100-bed blocks in district hospitals including Charkhi Dadri.
He also announced the construction of 21 new sports stadiums across 12 districts, upgradation of key roads including the Jhajjar–Charkhi Dadri four-lane corridor, and new jail infrastructure including district jails and a high-security prison in Rohtak.
Accountability and governance achievements
The Chief Minister said the government has fulfilled 61 Sankalps out of 217 in its Sankalp Patra within just one and a half years, while work is underway on 156 others.He reiterated the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi is a national mission and Haryana is committed to contributing through the goal of “Viksit Haryana”.
Congress-led INDIA bloc, spreads confusion for political gains
Referring to global crises such as the US-Iran conflict, the Chief Minister said the Prime Minister provided relief to citizens by reducing excise duty on petroleum products. He alleged that the opposition, particularly the Congress-led INDIA bloc, spreads confusion for political gains instead of constructive engagement.
Every grain produced by farmers will be procured
The Chief Minister assured that every grain produced by farmers will be procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP). He said procurement of mustard began on March 28 and wheat from April 1 in the state. He added that Haryana is the first state in the country to procure all crops at MSP and criticized the opposition for attempting to mislead farmers by visiting mandis. He advised Congress leaders to evaluate governance in Congress-ruled states instead of making politically motivated visits to mandis in Haryana.

Cabinet Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry said the present government is fulfilling the unfinished dreams of former leaders Chaudhary Bansi Lal and Chaudhary Surender Singh. She highlighted the reconstruction of Badhwana Distributary, originally built four decades ago, at a cost of Rs. 44 crore, along with Rs. 23 crore flood control works in the region.

MLA, Sh. Sunil Satpal Sangwan who was the convenor of the rally said the government has ensured transparent recruitment for youth and is actively accelerating development works in the region. He submitted a list of demands for further development in the constituency.
