Continuing a yearly tradition, NRI Jagjit Singh Brar (Pinta) distributed school uniforms, notebooks, books, bags, and other stationery items to students of the Government Primary School in village Chhaminda, Ludhiana. He was accompanied by former President of District Congress Committee Ludhiana (Urban) and former Chairman of Punjab Large Industrial Development Board, Pawan Dewan.

On this occasion, Brar said that despite living abroad, he remains deeply connected to his roots. Every year, he visits from overseas along with his brother Surinder Singh Brar (Rupa) to carry out this service in memory of their father. Pawan Dewan appreciated the efforts of the NRI brothers, stating that even while living miles away, they have not forgotten their homeland.

He also appealed to other members of the NRI community to step forward and contribute to the development of schools and dispensaries in their native villages, so that the standards of education and healthcare can improve and children can bring pride to Punjab and the country.
